To make basket:
- Hold a piece of 8 ½” x 11” card stock
vertically so it’s taller rather than wider
- Measuring from left, score at 1 ¼” and 7 ¼”
- Hold card stock horizontally so it’s now wide
- Measuring from left, score at 4 ½” and 6 ½”
- There are now 4 spots in the middle left and
middle right where the two scores intersect. Note the 4 short 1 ¼” scores
and snip each of them 1 ¼” until the meet the new score line (4 snips).
- Before you assemble & form the basket,
adhere the focal point to basket while it’s flat.
- Now fold on all score lines and use Sticky
Strip (pg. 192) to close and form basket
- Cut a handle from a remnant of card stock.
Make it 11” long and about 1” wide. Affix handle to basket by punching
holes into handle and basket where brad will go using 1/16” Circle Punch (pg.
186) and use brads of any sort (pg. 179).
